A tough but tender story of forgiveness, healing, and hope. Ever since their teenage years, Lenny and Matt have been friends and confidants. They have been through the good times and the bad, but nothing has ever come close to what happened that night. After a long day of fishing, they decide to take a break and go out for a night on the town. Lenny has just moved back to their hometown and is looking forward to catching up with Matt and reconnecting with old friends. But the night turns into a nightmare when Lenny walks into the bar to find his friend Matt, in a state of utter devastation. The two were about to be married and everything was going smoothly until one of Matt's friends, Seth, found out that he had been having an affair with his fiancée, leading to the breakup of the wedding. Now Matt is drinking heavily, the night turns into a disaster, and the two friends have to be separated to avoid any kind of altercation. In the morning, Lenny wakes up to find that everything has been destroyed. All his possessions are gone and he has nothing left but the clothes on his back.
